Trade Promotional Authority (TPA) allows the administration to negotiate trade deals with foreign countries without congressional amendment. This process is referred to as “Fast Track.” Jubilee USA believes the United States should model transparency and democratic input in economic policy. We believe the American public should have meaningful input in crafting and approving trade deals.
